Meet Olabimpe Olayinka, a masters graduate of the University of Ibadan who emerged as the Best Graduating Masters' Student of the Premier University for the year 2021.
Minutes ago, the beautiful lady with brains took to her official Facebook page to share the good news, sharing her convocation pictures. She wrote;
I got a miracle! This is my testimony as the Best Graduating Master's Student at the University of Ibadan 2021!
I am pleased to announce that I have completed my Master's degree in Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
My convocation came with a huge and remarkable surprise worthy of celebration as I received my award on the 16th of November, 2021.
This makes me excited because the journey which started in May 2018 ended with an awesome achievement in November 2021.
Despite the delay caused by incessant academic strikes and COVID-19, I am delighted that it all ended in praises.
On a personal note, it was an emotionally draining period for me. I can say, it was the best of times because I had my first baby, my Joy; Abundance. It was also the worst of times, because the Lord took my husband home, after a brief illness. With all that life threw at me, I am glad that the grace of God carried me through the storm, and brought me to a peaceful harbour.
I am grateful to My Lord Jesus Christ for His mercies. Kudos to my Sweet Mom and all our family members, I appreciate my late husband Prince Adebayo Ogunbajo, my project supervisors and mentors - Prof Edith Ajaiyeoba and Dr Omonike Ogbole, the former Dean Faculty of Pharmacy - Prof Oluwatoyin Odeku, The Phytomedicine research group, my lecturers - Prof J.O. Moody, Prof Shonibare, Dr. Taiwo Obademi Elufioye, Dr. Ajayi, and Dr. Abiodun, my Pastors, my colleagues, friends, church members and the Lawrence and Grace Foundation. Thank you all for making this possible.
I am Olabimpe, The Best Graduating Master's Student University of Ibadan 2021.
