With the Students’ Executives Council (SEC) Elections of the University Of Ibadan Students’ Union over and Akeju Oluwasegun emerging as the President - elect for the 2019/2020 Academic session, some students of the University have debated over the just concluded elections as members of #TeamHessy, the opposition party which’s led by Olofinlade Oluwaseyifunmi popularly known as Hessy believes that the results announced was to favor “Akeju” who’s regarded as a Management boy.
In a WhatsApp platform, some students have decided not to support the Akeju-led administration which hasn’t even started and have tagged him as “Senior Perfect Boy”. Also, one of the electorate committee shed more light on rumors about the projector switching off when the results was about to be announced and why there was no breakdown of how the students of the University voted.

One of the members of the WhatsApp platform made his own opinion, saying some of the “so-called” members of #TeamHessy were not real with him and when he asked them if they have voted on that day, they ended up saying they haven’t. Awon “Audio supporters” . Another gave reasons why Akeju didn’t have the support of the University Management.
Another member made it known that there was a document in their disposal which would have been released to counter Hessy’s victory should Incase he got the mandate and was declared winner of the just concluded election.
After an heated argument on the platform, Akeju was asked why he didn’t contribute and hasn’t made an official statement since the conclusion of the election and He made it known, replying that he wants peace to reign within the University community that’s why he won’t be saying anything for now.
