EFIWE GOSSIP: Students React To UISU Elections As Independence Hall Rejects Results | READ!

The Great Independence Hall, University of Ibadan, with a brief demonstration yesterday in the Hall yesterday have rejected the results of the Students’ Union Elections which held on the 7th of December. .

They agreed that the Election for the office of the President of the Union was manipulated by the Electoral Body or the School Management in the favour of their opponent, AKEJU OLUWASEGUN.


"We want them to explain to us where he got his FIGURES from because going by this released results, the total votes cast is not up to the total valid votes and the voids." Quoted from an Independence Hall Student.


Meanwhile, Students from the Nnamdi Azikiwe's Hall engaged in a very loud joyful retreat in celebration of their own candidate's victory.  Congratulations to the President - elect, Akeju Oluwasegun and other executives who emerged as winners.
