In view of the directives from the National body of Christian Association of Nigeria that Churches should stage a peaceful protest rally against the incessant killings and persecution of Christians, delay in securing release for Leah Sharibu and other Chibok girls still held in captivity, lopsided appointments and many more in our country, you are hereby notified that our Church will obey the instructions from CAN and play our own part.
What is expected of you:
1. Pray and prepare to participate actively.
2. Get other Church members informed and prepare them to be part of the experience.
3. Get a cardboard and write any of the following inscriptions and bring it along when coming to church tomorrow :
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, STOP SHEDDING INNOCENT BLOOD.
RELEASE LEAH SHARIBU NOW
ENOUGH OF UNLAWFUL KILLINGS IN THE COUNTRY
FG STOP HERDSMEN KILLINGS NOW
CAN REJECTS FG's POOR HANDLING OF INSECURITY
RELEASE OTHER CHIBOK GIRLS NOW
BUHARI, PROTECT LIVES AND PROPERTIES NOT COWS
CHRISTIANS SAY NO TO VIOLENCE AND BLOODSHED
THE OPPRESSION MUST STOP NOW.

Please note that the rally will only take place around our church premises and we will give the protests widest media coverage like other churches in the country and we will also take advantage of the social media.
The church can no longer afford to sit on the fence and keep mute as if the matter does not concern us. Nigeria is almost getting to a breaking point. It is time for us to pray and act.
If we refused to take a stand for Jesus now the generation of our children will not forgive us. And who knows whether God has brought you this far for such an hour as this.
May the Lord deliver the land from the hand of wicked and oppressive rulers and taskmaster.
