There was an uproar in Tedder Hall on Sunday, November 5th as two 100 Level Students were involved in a fight which ended in one getting injured.
Reports state that the fight stemmed as a result of Dodo (plantain). The stabber, a 100 Level Law student allegedly requested for his missing dodo upon finding out that his meal had vanished.i
When no possible solution resurfaced, a fight broke out between him and his friend-a techite also in 100 Level.
According to reports, it was the techite who charged first. The fight resulted in the techite getting stabbed.
Tedderites tried their best to reduce the bleeding but to no avail. It was then that the injured techite was rushed to Jaja, but upon arrival, the doctor on ground refused to attend to the injured unless the stabber was handed over to the UI’s security personnel (Abefele).
The stabber was taken to Abefele and the injured techite is currently responding to treatment at Jaja.
Statements were taken and the stabber was locked up, but as at 6.45pm, the stabber was seen entering his hall of residence.
