EFIWE SPORTS: PSG's Edinson Cavani Rejects €1 Million Bonus To Give Up Penalties To Neymar

Edinson Cavani has turned down a €1 million bonus in exchange for conceding Paris Saint-Germain's penalties to Neymar, according to El Pais.

The Uruguayan striker would receive the bonus for finishing the season as Ligue 1's top goalscorer, but PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi reportedly has offered to pay out that sum — whether or not Cavani finishes atop the scoring charts — if he surrenders penalty duties to his Brazilian team-mate.

Al-Khelaifi also is said to have sent representatives to convince Neymar to drop the dispute, arguing that the team's star should have the grace to let Cavani take penalties to maintain his confidence up front.

However, the former Barcelona forward apparently did not agree with that logic.

One word for Cavani?
