EFIWE GISTS: IMPACT Set To Hold In University Of Ibadan | 29th July, 2017

"A lot of people have gone further than they thought they would because someone else thought they could"

G7 (a Mentorship initiative)  Presents IMPACT (THE MAIDEN EDITION)

IMPACT is an annual convening of giants, mentoring professionals, civic leaders aimed at collectively strengthening and expanding quality mentoring relationships for young ladies.

The theme for this conference is :THE MENTOR, THE MENTEE; BRIDGING SOCIETAL GAP.

At G7 we understand that, Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction. It is to support and encourage people to manage their own learning in order that they may maximise their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance and become the person they want to be."

In our current world, the need for a mentor can never be overemphasized because for learning to take place, it's important to have a constant burning fire that stirs you up and makes sure you leave Your comfort zone. This is where a MENTOR comes in.

Mentors stimulate our personal and professional growth. They provide constructive criticism on our personalities and business/career. They also serve as advisers and allow us to tap into a wealth of knowledge we won't find else where. And what better way to gain access into your industry than through an already accomplished person? Mentors share their network and make necessary introductions that could lead to several rare opportunities.

At IMPACT, there would be three sessions :
-The Theme session where the theme speaker would dwell on mentorship and what it entails.

-Two panel sessions where our esteemed speakers would engage our participants based on their career feet and life's experience. There would be room for participants to engage with our speakers through their questions asked.

Time :9am
Venue :Seminar Room 3 and 4, UI HOTELS.
