The General Headquarters, Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries has compensated the trio of Godsent Omonuah, Damzy [Sultan Bello Hall Mayor] and one other student popularly identified as Crusher who are all students of university of Ibadan and were all involved in a fatal car accident in which the MFMUI bus as driven by yet-to-be identified driver made them causalities of the unfortunate incident.
This information was made available to a NUESA press correspondent by a reliable source who strongly affirmed that the 3 individuals involved and the MFMUI leadership are already aware of the development.
The informant reportedly said “Godsent Omonuah got the sum of 100,000, while Crusher also got the sum of 100,000 and Damzy, Sultan Bello Hall Mayor got the sum of 100,000 as a compensation for the car accident that almost calimed their lives which occurred along the T-junction of the Awo/Tech Road.
It should be recalled that 3 victims were involved in the car accident while walking on the pedestrian walkway on the 28th of April 2017 after the students’ union election manifesto night while they were on a form of political ballyhoo to Obafemi Awolowo Hall, the MFMUI bus which was driven by the unknown driver did lost its control probably due to over speeding or brake failure, ran into the pedestrian walkway over the culvert before heading into the bush.
The 3 victims sustained both major and minor injuries, but as it stands they are all currently fairing well, one of the victim, Godsent Omonuah has been reportedly discharged from the hospital, while Damzy is getting better and trying to improve his walking conditions after sustaining injuries from the incident.
NUESA Press correspondent while speaking to one of the victims who's already better now after spending more than 3 weeks at the university college hospital [UCH], Godsent Omonuah affirmed and acknowledged that they were compensated.
In his words, he said "We were given a certain amount, By the general headquarters of MFM For us to take care of ourselves".. When he was asked about his current state of health because he was walking with the aid of clutches, he said "After 6 weeks, then I'm to return to UCH for xray. So whatever the xray says will determine the next line of action of the doctors".
