Can we meet you?

I am Isioro Tokunbo Jaboro also known as (TJ) is an award-winning movie Producer, Director, and Writer for the 18 Award winning movie Saving Dreams.

I am also the founder, CEO and President of (True-Sail Production & Motion Pictures Inc.,) a Canadian base incorporation, an independent film company.

What is the main idea behind the movie Saving Dreams?

Saving Dreams, a dr
amatic thriller based on real life events comes this compelling drama with humor and heart that explores the power that hope and leap of faith can have on marriages, friendships, Dreams and our everyday lives.

Brenda Jackson (Karen Simpson) has the talent to become a great singer. But her other dreams interfere with her following that path. When she meets Steve Reeds (Martin Lindquist) she seems to have hit the jackpot. However, things starts to take a different turn in her life.

Is it merely a movie about domestic violence and abusive relations
hip or are there other dimensions to it?

Saving Dreams is a movie with a lot of twist and turns. Yes, it addresses domestic violence and abusive relationship by exposing this shameful act through the character Steve Reeds.

Who not only abuses Brenda in many different forms, but also promises to introduce her to people in the music biz. Yet as time goes on, after their marriage, the promises fade and abuse becomes the norm. He even forbids her to sing around the house.

Then surprisingly, he asks her to sing at a fund raiser for his new foundation. There, she is profoundly shocked to learn that his foundation helps abused women and children around the world. This movie will connect with a lot of people.

As a matter of fact, during our Toronto world premiere on September 17, 2016. We had people come from the US who previously saw this movie to see it again and personally thank me for tell such a story. This movie is torching and filled with hopes and dreams.

The movie seems to have an international cast, how were you able to pull them together?

Well it was easy. Two thing I am based in Canada and Toronto is one of the most diverse city in the world. I am strong believer of diversity and try to include a cast that is very diverse.

We want to deliver a message that would address our collective concerns, then diversity is key to doing that. My cast were all amazing, from the lead actors to the background actors, they were fantastic in their performance.

And you cannot forget my amazing hard working crew they made this happen.

The movie is also tagged award winning, what award has it won?

Saving Dreams has won 18 awards in total and received 25 International festival selections.

The movie has won awards or screened in Australia, New York, Chicago, Glendale (Hollywood) California, Maryland, Nevada, and New Jersey where it picked up its 18th award. We have had selections and winnings in Toronto, the UK and Lagos Nigeria.
