My Faculty dinner and award night held last night. I was nominated in three categories:
Entrepreneur of the year
Fashionista of the year
Blogger of the year
I emerged as the winner for the blogger of the year category. I am very pleased and happy to have won the award. Receiving the award is such an amazing honor.
I am most of all grateful to God for his mercies, grace and goodness and for the woman I'm becoming. Months back, I was running around in circles..struggling to find my path and place in this world. But thank God for me..I have grown to be a strong, resilient, smart, confident, ambitious young lady.
It was an experience to remember, I was visibly shaking and was almost moved to tears as i struggled to force a smile.
I want to specially thank my parents especially my mother (My no 1 fan)..I remembered when i told her that i am a blogger, "ewo tun ni blogging" she replied...as i explained to her...she said "enn en"...She has been most of all been very very supportive and sweet.
I want to thank my siblings...My brother and my beautiful sisters..I wouldn't have asked for more, I am so lucky to have you guys...It is so fulfilling to know that you guys got my back anyday.
To my blog readers, Thanks much and I hope you liked what you have seen so far and want to see more. I really enjoy exploring and sharing my experiences and discoveries with you. I also would love to hear what you guys would like to see more on the blog. I am looking forward to the future and how my blog can be a source of fabulous interchange of ideas,life, information and style. The sky's is the starting point.
