Few Hours after the Director of Distance Learning Centre, Prof Bayo Okunade released a Press Statement concerning the issue of Delay of CAs/Examinations in which Students of the University were complaining about, another message went viral which reads
"Dear Learner, Good morning, Please ignore the uninformed posts on our activities. It is a process that cannot be short-circuited. You are not being delayed unnecessarily. Check your facts, for example, those who matriculated in September 2011 are now in their final year despite strikes and our repositioning agenda.
The CAs are on while the examinations Time Table will be published on Thursday. If you didn't know, we remain the Best. Have a great week"
This message above has caused many Students of the Distance Learning Centre, University Of Ibadan to go on social media platforms to kick against the Management addressing them as Learners instead of Students.
Also, Com. Oladimeji Salako's post on the Official Facebook Page of the Distance Learning Centre created another dramatic scene as some Students took their time to throw shots at him.
