The Vice-Chancellor, addressed the media earlier this morning on the University Radio Station, Diamond FM 101.1 and these are some of his comments:
“Students will say Prof. Adewole (Now Minister of Health of Nigeria) is better than Prof. Olayinka, what’s my business with that ?”
"Once Arsenal is meeting Manchester united and there is power outage, the students go on protest"
"You can't ask students to pay extra #10,000, they'll burn down the school"
Well, if you say academic activities, that would mean lecturers are no longer thinking. Only lectures have been suspended not academic activities since lecturers are still thinking
“Academic activities haven’t been suspended since lecturers are still thinking”
"If we are to resolve the water issues in Idia hall, we'll have to tell students to pay #10000 each, but we dare not do that because the students will burn the hostel"

Immediately after the interview the hashtag#WhatsMyBusiness now trends on most Whatsapp and Facebook groups within the university community.
