EFIWE NEWS: Female Students Traumatized As Unknown Gunmen Raids Awolowo Hall, UI | READ!


Unknown gunmen raids Obafemi Awolowo Hall, University of Ibadan around the period of 1am with their activities taking place most especially around Block B and C.

There were several allegations of stabbing as the University security,
Abefele arriving exactly 1 hour 15 minutes after the operation, around 2:15am.


According to reports from Awo Press, Some residents were stabbed and have been taken for medical treatment. Also, no one was raped by the armed robbers and they promised to come back for another operation soon.

“At 4:20am, the DVC Admin came around and is still around as at the time the report was filed. He said he is the Acting V.C for now.”  Awo Press added.

This robbery is coming just few days after the ban of Motorbikes on major roads of the University as they were the ones accused of carrying out such illegal activities and with a replacement of Tricycles popularly known as Keke Napeps.


 As we anticipate an official press release from the University Of Ibadan, we hope and believe that the female hall students of the University are safe and taken care of as some were said to be traumatized after the incident.
