EFIWE NEWS: My Administration Would Strive To Make Learning Environment More Conducive For Students - UIVC Prof. idowu Olayinka

As Block I of Obafemi Awolowo Hall which was retreated from in 2012 got renovated and officially opened by the University Management, about 150 post graduate students of University of Ibadan will be given hostel accommodation this week.
The vice chancellor, Professor Abel Idowu Olayinka promised, as he continually say that his administration would continue to strive to make learning environment more conducive for the students with the provision of necessary facilities.
According to him, “within the limited resources at our disposal, we shall not relent in ensuring that our students’ welfare is given topmost priority because we are here to make life more meaningful for them.”
He also took out time to inspect both undergraduate and postgraduate rooms in the hall and urged the Hall Management Committee to ensure that the facilities are well maintained for the maximum benefit of the students.
The Hall Warden, Dr. Helen Adekunbi Labeodan had thanked the University Management for responding to the distress call when the Block I hollowed out in 2012.
