Read Excerpts below:

UI ODL FRONTIERS: Despite your fame, what is your drive for university education?

SAHEED OSUPA: The need for education cannot be overemphasized if one desires to take his relevance in life to another level.

It is important to pursue education for social acceptance. You know when people hear that you are a Fuji artist, they think of you as a riffraff. I want this to change! I believe anybody can talk but to be heard, you need to go to school.

UI ODL FRONTIERS: It must have been a tough decision for you, isn't it?

SAHEED OSUPA: Let me tell you something I have learnt. Mental maturity is not the same as physical maturity. Mental maturity is attained by studying. So as to stand out beyond just being a Fuji artist, I had to make this choice without minding what people would say.

You see, it takes mental maturity to communicate deeply. The level of your communication is determined by your cognitive soundness.

This is why I decided to take the bull by the horn and pursue a university education.

I was totally stunned by the poise and intelligence of this 200 level Political Science student of the University of Ibadan on the Open and Distance Learning Mode, Babatunde Okunola.

If you think it's too late to get a degree from the University of Ibadan, then you are very wrong.
