EFIWE NEWS: UI Management Sends Text Messages To Parents Ahead Of School Resumption




According to reports reaching UE, the University management dispatched a text messages to  parents and guardians of the Students of the University of Ibadan ahead of School resumption on July 2nd.
The text message which was sent earlier this morning reads;

Sir/Ma, our first semester exams were suspended due to the students' unfortunate protest of 29 May, 2017.

We have since had productive engagement with many stakeholders. Students are now expected to return to campus on 2 July.

Kindly appeal to your child/ward to maintain peace. We cannot afford any further disruption of the academic calendar.

My dad called to warn me that he just received a text from the vc that parent should appeal to their children to let peace reign'
