Actress, Funke Akindele-Bello, has declared a war on those pirating the DVDs of her popular comic series, ‘Jenifa’s Diary’.
She apologised to her fans for the rate at which the DVDs are being duplicated by crooks and assured that relevant authorities have swung into action in order to put a stop it.
“Due to piracy affecting the distribution and sales of Jenifas Diary DVD season 5, 6 & 7, I received some complaint from my lovely Jenifans.
“Upon further investigation, we discovered the pirated copies have new episodes that have not yet been released leading to contradictions with the ORIGINAL DVD we released.
“We humbly apologise and are currently working with the relevant authorities to combat piracy at this scale and ensure this never happens again.

Meanwhile, fans continue to wish safe delivery to #FunkeAkindele and her husband, JJC Skillz following reports that they are expecting twins.
