It was indeed a wonderful evening of comedy hoopla as A-list Comedians in Nigeria converged at the International Conference Center, University of Ìbàdàn to thrill the crowd at the GLO Laffta Fest on Sunday, June 11, 2017. The auditorium was undoubtedly filled up to its brim as the atmosphere was quite ecstatic and euphoric with the comedians cracking the ribs of the crowd at the event.
The event had in attendance series of Nigeria's finest comedians and Nollywood act such as Juliet Ibrahim, Mercy Johnson, Odunlade Adekola, Mr. Latin, Omobaba, Bash, Gordons, Kenny blaq, Basket Mouth and many others, the event also had in attendance the Ọ̀yọ́ state Commissioner of Police command, CP Abiodun Odude and many other dignitaries. The comedy show was filled with both young and old people as the inhabitants of Ibadan city trooped out en-masse for the comedy show like never before.
The duo of Juliet Ibrahim and Mercy Johnson were the official comperes of the event as DJ Neptune was the official disk jockey for the event. There were series of side attractions in which some individuals did win gifts and freebies from Glo.
Mr Ọmọtayọ Séríkí did confirm that the musical edition as organized by Globacom will hold on the 24th of June 2017 and as such Nigeria's finest musical acts such as Olamide, Phyno, Korede Bello, P-square and others will all be live in the city of Ìbàdàn.
