Miss Ufuoma Oghenetega, a 100 level student of the Department of Special Education has emerged Miss Fresher of the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Hall on Saturday 20th May, 2017.
Despite her disability, the 21-year old beauty enraptured the audience and judges with her confidence, intelligence and talent. Of all the contestants who put in for the pageantry competition which was a session of the variety night, Miss Ufuoma was the most outstanding.
A Queenite who couldn't keep her awe for the Urhobo beauty gushed, “I loved her courage! She would be the first physically challenged to win such in Queens hall”.
Miss Ufuoma has been crowned Miss Fresher for the 2016/2017 session with Miss Ogunlade Ifeoluwa and Miss Iwuchukwu Deborah emerging as 1st runner up and 2nd runner up respectively.
It would be recalled that the Queens Hall week was suspended following the death of a 100 Law student Miss Effiong Imarbong.
