His Highness, Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi says He won't be leaving his throne to run for any political office in Nigeria.
He made this known via his official gram page @sanusilamidosanusi when he replied a member of audience who asked him if he was going to run for office. He said;
" A member of audience asked me: Your Highness! Would you consider leaving your throne to run for office? I said to him : NO! "
