EFIWE NEWS: UCJUI Unveils New Logo Ahead Of 30 Years Anniversary @ucjui


As part of the preparation for the 30 years anniversary of the Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan, the Union has unveiled a new logo today, February 24, 2017 at the Union’s Secretariat.

The Union’s new logo was selected among other entries received at the “UCJ Logo Challenge” launched few weeks ago. The Logo Challenge had over 15 entries and after due process and thorough consultation, following the guidelines and procedures of the challenge; an entry from Adebayo Joshua was adjudged to be the best which makes him the winner of the Challenge.


In a brief chat with the President of the Union, Samuel Arowosafe, he expressed his joy over the successful completion of the “UCJ Logo Challenge”.

He pointed out that the Logo Challenge was borne out of the exigency to rebrand the Union and as well give the Union a new ‘face’ prior to the 30th anniversary. He further added that the change in logo is in fulfilment of the rebranding agenda he promised during the electioneering process.

While enjoining pressmen to watch out for other programmes in celebration of the 30 years anniversary, the President however said that the award for the winner of the competition – Mr. Adebayo Joshua will be presented at the UCJ Movie Night which is slated to come up in the early weeks of March.
