It is gradually becoming a norm for frustrated and provoked Nigerian police officers to take out their anger on unsuspecting innocent individuals that refuse to conform to their ways and pay them bribe as have struck again in Ilishan Remo,where they shot an innocent man named Bolaji after accusing him of being a yahoo boy then later asking him for bribe, After he refused to part with his hard earned money one of the officers cocked his gun and ridiculed his leg with bullets
The SARS officer that committed the heinous offence immediately fled the scene and has not been seen since the incident
An passerby who witnessed the incident revealed: “This is Bolaji and he was shot by SARS in Ilishan Remo, Ogun State on Wednesday 17th, around 4:30pm, claiming he was a “yahoo boy” which he isn’t, and immediately he was shot they ran away.
My point is, they were supposed to be catching robbers and not just ordinary boys, yahoo is a crime but they’re not in the place to shoot and why would they run after shooting the guy all in the name of claiming the guy should give them money?”
