The UIODL Dinner Awards And Variety Night happened yesternight at Glory View Hotel, Bodija and the event was witnessed by thousand of Students of the University.

In attendance was the DLC Director, Prof. Bayo Okunade, Head of Students Support Unit, Mrs Olawale Bukola,  Hon. Oluleke Peter (Fmr. SRC President), Adedokun Amosun (Soul from Fresh Fm), Ms Salu Theresa Olusayo ( Omidan Orayan), Ms Aderonke Kassim (Miss Classic), Com. Oladimeji Salako (Personalty Of The Year Winner)

The Judges for the Miss UIODL Beauty Pageant were Mayor Isaac Brown, Dorsu O. Anita, Idajili Victoria and Bukola Moronfolu. Contestants for Miss UIODL Beauty Pageant were Justina Ilesanmi (No 1), Magdalene Ekiko (No. 3), Afolabi Abimbola (No.4) they are all 400 Level Student of Department of Psychology, Yemi Kolawole (No. 2), a 400 Level Student of the Department of Statistics and also Temitope Oyegoke No. 5), a 200 Level Student of the Department of English.

After a wonderful display from all the Contestants,  Ms Afolabi Abimbola emerged as the First Miss UIODL while Justina Ilesanmi emerged as the First Runner Up and  Ms. Yemi Kolawole claimed Second Runner Up.
